Visit the Barefoot Muse for the latest in contemporary formal/metrical poetry online.
I know if I try and name all the Sphereans in the new issue I will miss someone out, so I'll just say that any quality online venue for formal poetry is unquestionably going to have a representative proportion of members from this site!
Enjoy, and have a great summer!

Anna wisely avoids the risk of leaving someone out, but I'm going to be unwise today:
Names you'll recognize, besides my own, are Nemo Hill and Gail White; and Ray Pospisil and Mark Blaeuer are members, too, though they post infrequently. Juleigh Howard-Hobson joined recently, I believe; I hadn't read her work before, but I thoroughly enjoyed "The Next Morning." I don't know if Joseph Salemi and Nigel Holt are members, but we certainly know their names and their work. And again, if there are Sphere members I haven't recognized, I apologize--and I hope you'll tell me!
It's a lovely issue, if I do say so myself. Congrats to all who made it possible, and especially to editor Anna Evans.

Kudos, Anna! I haven't had time to read it all yet, but what I've seen so far looks good.

It's marvellous. Congratulations all who are in there.
Joseph Salemi's "On a Workshopped Poem" bit hard and should make us all become rather quiet for a moment. Hands up anybody who didn't say "Yes!" deep down.

Maryann, thanks for the mention. Thanks, too, to those who commented when an earlier version of my poem was on TDE. Most importantly, I agree Anna does a great job.

Maryann,
I have just read and listened to "Saturday Edition". I don't have the words I need to express my admiration.
Profound, beautifully made poem! and an outstandingly well-nuanced reading. Your voice is firm and perfectly pitched and paced. You certainly must be a good singer.

Thanks for the kind words, Janet. Credit must also go to my husband's patient sound engineering. It required a number of takes to get one without popped P's.
And now back to the poems....

Glad you enjoyed my poem! You're right, I have just joined. I've been waiting for a good point to jump in here and begin posting, and it doesn't get any better than this. Thank you.
Congratulations to Anna for a splendid journal, and 'well done!' to all who appear in this issue.
Glad to be here among such talented poets--
