Doug,
The name was new to me, but having clicked on the link, and read some of the poems, I will certainly be going back to read the rest, as it seems to be a very interesting selection.
Regards, Maz

Thanks, Doug
I found, read and enjoyed the poem by Alicia Stallings (though I admit I did wonder if there was a typo in stanza3 L3 of her poem, Pattern. It could easily be that I'm just not reading it properly, having been afflicted with a fever and dizziness for the last couple of days. I also found the hooked rug art fascinating - it kind of gave me a 70's feeling which I always enjoy. Hey, I could have written the poem composed of W. statements - that's cheating! It's frightening enough to hear him quoted on liberal talk radio programs. May Unsplendid have a long and prosperous life.

The reading photos were a nice added touch, Doug.

Thanks Maz, Anne, and Jennifer, for your good words. We'll strive to provide the same level of reading/viewing pleasure in the future!
Cheers,

I've read and enjoyed the whole new issue of Unsplendid. It has a different feel than, say, The Formalist, or Measure. I'm not quite sure why, but maybe it's a slightly younger feel with some new voices. In any case, it's well worth making regular visits to the site.
