For those who have occasionally wondered what has become of Story Line Press, I just received a letter from Robert McDowell saying he has closed the place out & is disposing of the remaining stock.

His e-mail address is rmmcdowell@mind.net if you need to contact him.

I heard that they were folding, but I haven't followed the whole story. Did they just go belly up?

Such a loss.

The million-dollar questions are:

1. Who gets control of the back catalogue?

2. Who, if anyone, will step into the void?

Possibly I'm mistaken, but I think this just confirms what is old news. Story Line Press press has been MIA for over a year.

Check out this old Sphere thread.

Some Story Line titles are still available from the West Chester University Poetry Center. I don't know which ones, but think they have a pretty good inventory.

Robert notified me a few weeks ago, and I've bought some of my remaining books.

Yes, I've got a fat box of Arrivals.....
Looks to me like The Country I Remember is out of print.
