I don't usually read the articles in P&W (where have you heard that before?), but there is an interesting piece on the critic William Logan and a tiff with the great and horribly underappreciated R.S. Gwynn, who is one of the three best light verse poets in the world--along with Joe Kennedy and Wendy Cope. Gwynn's Selected Verse is overdue from Story Line, and should greatly improve his poetic reputation.
