Alex, cool new page. Let the good times roll. LOL. BTW. Can we discuss cliches and the critic? Let's go for it! Just do it.

Thanks, Ralph. Richard should be around with something pretty soon.
Cheers,

Ralph, "Cliches and the critic" sounds like a good place to start. After many hundreds of reviews, I find that I can't always keep track of whether I'm repeating myself or repeating what others have said -- and I'm not sure which is worse. Then, not infrequently, when I've let myself get away with something stale the publisher picks it up to blurb the back of the paperback edition.

Richard, be assured, for one, that I wasn't referring to YOU as a critic. Not sure, but at the time I posted it may have meant how critics deal with cliches as well as those they fall into (I haven't done lit crit for a looooooong time, but looking back on what I and others did, I grooooooooan.) Will you be posting topics, or are we expected to start them?

RCL, I'd be very glad to see others post topics, although I'll post now and then too.
