Plein Air

      

  
   
C. G. Macdonald grew up in Vallejo, and studied Literature and Creative Writing at Cal and UC Davis. He has worked as a seasonal firefighter, a creative writing instructor, a singing telegram messenger, an English instructor in Japan and most recently, an awake overnight counselor at a home for troubled teens. His work has appeared widely, in journals such as Boston Phoenix, Light, Poetry Flash and Western Humanities Review, with nearly 100 publication credits, and poems forthcoming in americas review, The Lyric, Medicinal Purposes, Pivot and Texas Review. He lives in Davis with his wife and two children
