Lisa Sanders writes short fiction along with a little poetry and publishes her work every twenty years. In 1980 her autobiographical story won first prize and appeared in an anthology so obscure, not even she can remember its name. She manages Syllabus magazine, and two recalcitrant but adorable teenagers in the same small California town where she grew up.
