Nan Leslie was born in North Carolina, but spent much of her childhood in Paris and traveling throughout the United States, eventually settling in Connecticut where she writes full-time from her studio. She is on staff at coffeehouseforwriters.com where she writes a weekly newsletter for developing writers. She also pens author interviews and reviews websites beneficial to writers. Most recently her short stories can be found in The Fairfield Review and forthcoming from CrossConnect Magazine, Southern Ocean Review, The Paumonak Review, Circle Magazine, Ascent Magazine, Carve Magazine, Moondance, and Terrain. Nan Leslie is the recipient of the winner of the University of Washington's Carve Magazine Fiction Award, and nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is currently at work on a novel.
