Julie Kane is an Assistant Professor of English at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and a past Visiting Writer-in-Residence at Tulane University. She has published one book and two chapbooks of poetry in the United States and England, and individual poems have appeared in such journals as The Southern Review, Feminist Studies, Epoch, Thema, London Magazine, The Taos Review, and Thirteenth Muse, as well as in anthologies published by Milkweed Editions, Henry Holt/Viking-Penguin, and LSU Press.
