Jeffrey Einboden is a graduate of Magdalene College, Cambridge where he completed a doctorate concerning English translations of Islamic poetry.  Currently an Assistant Professor at Northern Illinois University, Einboden's recent publications include "A Qur'ānic Milton: From Paradise to al-Firdaws" (Milton Quarterly 43:3) and "Washington Irving in Muslim Translation: Revising the American Mahomet" (Translation & Literature 18:1).  His "The Genesis of Weltliteratur: Goethe's West-östlicher Divan andKerygmatic Pluralism" (Literature & Theology 19:3) was selected by Oxford as one of the 100 seminal articles published by OUP during the past century.

John Slater is a Cistercian monk in upstate New York. His poems have appeared in various journals in the U.S. and Canada, including Queen’s Quarterly,and Brink Magazine. His poem ‘Lost and Found’ won the 2007 Foley Poetry Award (America magazine).A first collection of his work is forthcoming from The Porcupine's Quill (Canada). The Hafiz translations have appeared or are forthcoming in a number of journals including CrossCurrents, PN Review, and Words Without Borders . A booklength collection is forthcoming from Fons Vitae.
