A. E. Stallings had the honor of serving on the Poetry at Callanwolde committee in Atlanta with Turner Cassity for a number of years in the 90s.  Her most recent collection, Hapax, received the 2008 Poets' Prize.  Her verse translation of Lucretius, The Nature of Things, is out from Penguin Classics.  She lives with her husband, John Psaropoulos, and their children, Jason and new baby Atalanta, in Athens, Greece.  She directs and teaches a three-week poetry seminar in the summers on the island of Spetses for the Athens Centre.
