In some reading today I stumbled on a reference to Poe's "Annabel Lee," and that reminded me of the Clint Eastwood thriller Play Misty for Me. The psychopathic woman who's obsessed with him has a thing for the Poe poem.

This is apropos of nothing, but I liked the association and thought I'd share it. (I also liked that film quite a bit.)

This gives me an idea for a poem - I'm not sure how it will go, just that the refrain will be, "Quoth the Bellboy, Haaaaaay, Laaaaaayydie!!!!"
