Congrats, Frank!

And congrats to Uche, as well, (Manna and the Maxim Gun), and to David, for his translations of Fray Luis de León and Lope De Vega !

Looks like a great issue all around!

Best,

Bill

Yes, very good work all around. Kudos, and thanks to Mary for kicking this off.

And I'll also say I'm glad Unsplendid is going again; may this trend continue.

Default and Andrew too...

Let's not overlook Andrew Frisardi's translations in the Italian issue, 3.3, right next to 4.1. Here's one of them:

Great language & a lovely poem, Frank--it's hard to make description come alive in the absence of an (overt) narrative. You do it, here. Nice work!

I'm so glad to see Unsplendid appear again. Congratulations to contributors (esp. Frank, Andrew. David and Uche) and a big thank you to U. staff for another lovely issue.

I'd like to ask Uche if Christopher Okigbo was the model for the poet-character in "Half of a Yellow Sun" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie?
