WORM 37 Poetry e-zine is dusted off and ready to go.

This issue features poems by David Anthony, Jim Corner, Vaughn Fritts, michaela a. gabriel, Mitchell Geller, Christopher T. George, Martyn Halsall, Nigel Holt, Richard Lawson, Fred Longworth, Amy MacLennan, Gill McEvoy, Peter Moltoni, Helena Nelson, Christine Potter, Arthur Seeley, Alan Wickes and Matt Williams.

If you'd like the zine emailed to you, just contact me at
wordbug@btinternet.com
and it will be in your Inbox before you know it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BTW, I've been having trouble with my other email address (freeserve/wanadoo)--messages were just disappearing, without even a bounce message to let the sender know there was a problem.
So if anyone emailed me submissions for WORM 37, and didn't receive an acknowledgement, I'm afraid I didn't receive your poems. But I hope you will re-submit them for the next issue.
Regards, Maz
Thanks, Maz. I appreciate your hard work on WORM more than ever these days. My favorite pieces in the issue are Martyn Halsall's "Water Road," the sonnets by Peter Moltoni and Vaughn Fritts, and Amy Maclellan's "Meat Packing," which I've seen before and is still good.
I got the email asking me to submit, which I appreciate very much, but having submitted I heard no more. I'm sure WORM can get on just fine without me, but it was the only place to which I ever submitted anything (almost). Lucky for me that being in shit creek turns out to be a good thing after all.
Great work you do, Maz, cheers.
Peter, I'm sure Maz wasn't conducting a vendetta, probably.
More likely you got lost in the email debacle she mentions above.
Best regards,
David
Never harboured the faintest suspicion of foul play, David. Thanks for mentioning though, so I can point that out.
Maz,
It's most gratefully received. Because of power failures and real life I have yet to read it properly but it looks like a lively issue. Your dedication is appreciated.
Peter,
I know I did miss submissions this time--and I wish I knew how to retrieve emails that vanish for no reason, but I'm stumped. I'm sorry that you were affected by this problem.
Please rest assured that I always acknowledge every submission I receive, and after the poems have been selected for an issue, I email every author who has submitted to let them know if their work is included or not. It takes a little time, but I think it is the least I can do after they have been kind enough to send poems for WORM.
Regards, Maz
Margaret,
Thanks for this issue. Among my favorites are Alan Wickes' "Concerning Mother" and Richard Lawson's "The Shed," and Christine Potter's "What Mrs. Stannard Said." Your comment on the latter is right on target for me as well.
Congratulations to you and everyone in WORM!
Terese
