About my poem Tanabata

Ah, I really hate to do this sort of thing, but I'll swallow my pride and do it. If anyone has any thoughts about the poem I posted in the Deep End forum called Tanabata, I'd be really interested to hear them. Stephen seemed to think it was a failed experiment, and for all I know it might be, but I'd like to get a few more opinions before I scrap it. Especially since I am quite fond of it myself, since, as Stephen pointed out, it was inspired by my other major interest, Japanese comics or manga. And maybe even if you don't like the form, if you could give me any technical pointers, it would be strongly appreciated.
