The Cosmic Purr - poems by Aaron Poochigian
(with a Foreword by Charles Martin):
Blurbs from Dick Davis, David Mason and Diana Der-Hovanessian--

The Cosmic Purr is the first collection of original poetry from Aaron Poochigian, well-known for his translations of Sappho, Aeschylus, Aratus and Apollonius of Rhodes. From the mythical to everyday themes, from the landscape of North Dakota to scenes in a bar, at a marriage ceremony, before birth or before death, Poochigian’s verse is enlightened by uncommonly fresh wisdom, and deployed in the delightfully masterful, elegant and naturally-flowing metrical forms his translations are known for.
"Aaron Poochigian is both a classicist and a neo-classical poet. By this I mean that he prefers as subjects the common occasions of our lives and articulates them uncommonly, in verse rich with the kind of detail that becomes a style passed on in an act of friendship between him and the poets of the past who have served as his mentors . . ."
                                                                                     – Charles Martin (from the Foreword)

Aaron, congratulations!

David, is the Kindle version formatted correctly? That is, does it properly show line and stanza breaks?

How much does the Kindle version cost? I didn't see a price.
Oh, and major kudos to Aaron! and also to Alex!

Thanks everyone!

Andrew - Kindle version is £6.50 at Amazon UK, $9.99 Amazon US. The other worldwide Amazon sites are slower to update their databases, but when they do eventually, it will for around €7.57 at the EU sites that are enabled for Kindle versions (i.e. amazon.it, amazon.de, amazon.fr, and amazon.es).

Also, there'll be a Barnes & Noble Nook and Apple iTunes store digital version (iPhone, iPad, etc.) in the next few days -- it should have been available at the same time as the Kindle version, but thus far, their release process seems to be on the slow side.

Cheers,
...Alex

Wow, thanks for the excitement--I thrive on it. I'm pulling out all the stops promoting this thing--we'll see what happens.

Thanks to Alex as well, who has been a patient and conscientious editor.
