Since Catherine sent the note about posting my albums here, I thought some might be interested in seeing my reading of Wil Mills's poem "The Poet Playing Chess" at the conference birthday party held in Mr. Wilbur's honor.
Wil wanted to attend the conference, and read the poem himself, as Mr. Wilbur is his role model, both as a poet and as a person. But Wil has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer, is terribly ill and undergoing treatment at the moment. He is dear to me, and so I read the poem in his place. You can see it here:
