I'll bet this is old news to most of you, but some of the ways literature is being done via iPad apps impress me greatly. Here is a link from the

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore makes amazing use of rich features and details, and
The Waste Land app points to some new directions in approaching poetry. Yes, yes -- I'm a basic poem-on-paper fundamentalist too, but I also love new ways of coming at things. My iPad has been a real friend to me over the last miserable month, and there's some great stuff for composers and responders coming through the medium.
Toontastic looks like a goer, and
Garageband is good value too.
