Disappearing Forums
The Deep End and non-Met appear to have disappeared from my screen. Are others experiencing the same, or it is a private message from the poetry Godlings.

"appear to have disappeared" sounds odd, but not half as odd as the fact that they have disappeared!
They're still there as far as I'm concerned, Michael, so this one's a mystery I can't solve, sorry.
I think your only recourse is to ask Alex if he can fix it. (Have you tried switching off and completely re-booting? It sometimes works for other problems.)

Problem solved. I had apparently accidentally activated some buttons at the right hand side of the view that shows all Boards, which closed down two of them. To be honest, I was happier with the thought that the Gods and Goddesses had singled me out for attention, but the solution turned out to be easier than apologizing for all that questionable poetry.

Oh, that's good. I'm glad it was a simple explanation, and that the Immortals still love you, Michael.

They don't love me, Jane - they ignore me - they don't even know I'm here. (I wish I could look at life with your rose-covered glasses.)

What a wonderful, mysterious and lethal title line, Michael.

I won't love you any more either, if you don't remember how to spell my name properly, Michael
I just can't help being an eternal optimist. My glass is always half full, not half empty!

But empty is much more interesting, JAYNE. How many great songs (or poems) are there about long and happy marriages, and how many about lying and unfaithful mates, or early deaths?

Yes... you have a point there. I'll ponder it while I re-fill my wine glass. Cheers!

Previous post here deleted because it was much too long for this thread.
