WARNING: Not only did that link turn red when I clicked on it, and lock up my Outlook Express, Jim, but it locked up my computer and I had to shut down and restart. And, on the restart, the computer indicated I had a "dirty" file, and went hrough a verification procedure - something I hadn't seen before. "Evil gene" indeed.

Glitches happen, and possibly this was a case of my itchy and impatient triple-clicking screwing things up - but I thought I'd caution folk. Anybody else have a problem?

I have to run out now, but I'm running my malware program.

Michael

I looked at it and didn't have any problems. Yet. Now I'm worried.

I think it was me. I ran my Malware scan and found zilch, and then tried the link again, and it seems fine. I think what happened was that it was slow coming up the first time (and turned red to show it was in process), and I got impatient and started honking the horn and screwed up my sensitive Explorer.

The source is the very reputable, if something less of The Thunderer it fancies itself to be, London Times.

This has had some 35 hits here, I guess there would have been a rush of advisory, and complaining, responses if there is a mal ware problem.

I've certainly experienced none. Let's hope, and sympathetically, it's local to you Michael, I can't imaging it's anything inherent in the site.

Michael, perhaps your PC (!!!) glimpsed some of the material on the site and threw a wobbly. Maybe it read this:

Quote:
"Are all children born good? Are bad people bad because of the way their parents brought them up? Barbara Oakley's fascinating book might change your mind about the answers to these questions." —Judith Rich Harris, author of The Nurture Assumption and No Two Alike.
Enough to make any PC explode.

Oh my! The sparkling wit. PC! is seriously funny Mark.

I'd love to read that book.
