Today's New York Times reviews a book by my and Ray Pospisil's old boss. A funny book, it seems, called Hell. His Pulitzer Prize winner A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain (1993ish) is tremendous.
Thanks for telling us about this Rick. What an ambience there must be and have been in your workplace. Sometimes these great mini societies happen and everyone is enriched.
It was a tremendous office o' people. Two colleagues went on to careers at NPR. There was a playwright. All at the end of the road for cliche newsroom behavior. Butler is an amazing guy. Those were the days.
