I once wrote a poem about Madeline Usher that included the lines:
Nothing makes a girl feel puparial
Like premature burial.
(Needless to say, no one would touch it.)

Hell, Gail. If I had a magazine I'd publish that poem of yours, simply on the basis of that couplet. Since Robert Browning blazed the trail there have been lots of us busy rhyming tales of mad murderers. I've just fnished one about a bloke who lures children into his Wendy house with money and cigarettes and then... heh heh!
