I don't know you or your poetry, and, seeing that this string has had about 60 viewings (and, presumably, listenings) and no replies before now, it is with trepidation that I speak up. As you say, what you've posted is an introduction, not a song. I would be inclined to wait for the song itself, since it may turn out to be in total contrast to this.
But I may as well stick my neck out and admit that for me, a song needs first and foremost to be singable. As a close second, I'd like it to have a melody, and preferably one that I can remember, at least for a short while after hearing it. Some sort of varied rhythmic pattern would also add interest.
