New Moderator Announcement
Dear Erastophereans,
I am equally pleased to announce a brand new moderator on the Eratosphere scene . . . drum rolls for our very own E. Shaun Russell! And again, The Deep End has moderator! And this is an important step toward revitalizing that forum.
You already know a lot about Shaun from all his active participation at the Sphere all these years, but did you know that:
~~~~~~~~~~ E. Shaun Russell is a poet and long-time member of Eratosphere whose poems have appeared in over thirty journals and anthologies, and have been nominated for two Pushcart Prize awards. He is currently pursuing doctoral study in the field of Poetry and Poetics, with a proposed specialization on the transhistoric, transnational evolution of sonnet form and trope. He currently makes his home in Northern Virginia with his wife Anna. ~~~~~~~~~~
Please join me in giving a hearty Eratosphere welcome to Shaun!
Cheers,
...Alex
Thanks, everyone, for your warm welcome...and to Alex in particular for giving me the gig. It's daunting, especially in light of the stature of former TDE mods, but I'm certainly eager to get started. Of course, there's not much I can do until people start posting there, however, so hopefully a few of the folks who have grown accustomed to posting only at Met will consider trying out a poem or two at the Deep End. As a mod, I'll primarily just be a peacekeeper (assuming that's even needed), though I will also be very active and will do my level best to maintain and encourage high-level discussion of the posted poems.
Thanks again!
welcome
Greetings Shaun. Congratulations. I've been absent from Eratosphere for a long time but would like to start posting again. So some critiques and some postings soon to come.
