South of the border, down Mexico way...
Hey, folks,
The latest issue of SOL is up, and it's a good one. Prominently featured: Jose Skinner, Ankur Betagari, Halvard Johnson, Lynda Schor, Antony Cohan, John Warley, and many more. James Cervantes edits.
My poem, Cabrillo, is also there. And since every contributor must have legitimate Mexican credentials, the Bio Kate knocked together is not to be missed...
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,
I don't want to match up against Kate in court, after watching that bio dancing through the raindrops: "But for the geographical accident of a few miles," most of my homicide clients would've been merely shooting beer cans off a fence. Congratulations for the placement, and for the poem: the last stanza, with its 'half-invented gates' and the rest, is especially fine.
Best,
Ed
PS - I love the way the stanzas break.

Congrats on your publication, Bill! SOL's a great place to have work, and you're definitely in good company there. Jose was one of my professors Love all the sounds in your poem, the flow, feels like waves.
Best,
K.

"Oh, Mexico. / I've never been but I want to go." --James Taylor.
Actually, my daughter taught there for four years and I have been there. Congrats, James on the poem. Look forward to reading it and to reading the bio.

Ha! I was talking about James Taylor, Bill, and his name slipped out instead of yours. Sorry. Haplography of the mind.
