Default Call for Sonnets

This call for sonnets, for an anthology, appeared in Calls for Submissions on Facebook: http://diamondpointpress.com/about-us/. It is Diamond Point Press, which publishes, among other journals, Liebamour, a journal in which I have published. Seems legitimate.

I was hopeful to begin with, David, but I'm rather put off a publishing house who can't spell 'literature'

We all make mistakes, and 'Spellcheck' isn't 100% foolproof, but someone in their position ought to at least double-check their output before going 'public' with it.

I'm probably just over-tired and tetchy (it's bedtime here). I just get fed up with lack of attention to detail, sorry; there's too much of it. There I go again...

A somewhat alarming home page.

Maybe it's the Tennessee quality.

I'm not a partisan or fan of the press, though, as I said, I did get one poem published in one of their print journals asking for sixties-style poems (I gave them an old slam poem that was sixty-ish). I didn't read their call closely enough to see if there were typos on the page, etc.

Yes, and I also owe my soul to the company store.
