Wheeee!! July has been very good to me. New house, new furniture, new carpet, new high speed internet access (if I can figure out how to hook it up) AND----my very first "print" publication!!
Free verse, no less!!
The Summer 2005 issue of Pebble Lake Review includes my poem "To the Greek Girl on Forest Street" which was work-shopped here about a year ago.
Life is wonderful....(and yes, the walls really are orange!!!!!)
Lo

That's awesome, Lo. I haven't seen Pebble Lake, but I've heard it's good. Congratulations!
(Orange? Really? You mean, like traffic cones?)

Coolness! Congrats and many more to you, Lo!
I hope it's pale orange, for your sake.

Congratulations, Lo. It's nice to see a poem in print. My bedroom is painted bright red, so I know how reluctant painters are to paint anything in vibrant colors. In England, though, it seems to be much more common to have intense wall colors than in the U.S.
