Default Chandler in the Lyric

Catherine Chandler leads off the Summer 2012 issue of the Lyric (just now out) with "Transcendence", a poem with an unusual and elegant rhyme scheme. Well done, Cathy.

Thanks, Gail. I also have a triolet, "Fieldstone Fence" in that same issue.

Ah, the lucky Lyric! Nice work, Cathy--the fence poem is a gem.

Best,
Jean

Congratulations, Cathy. "Mother's Day" was a big hit with my high school seniors. The kids are lining up at the library to check out your book.

Congratulations Cathy! ... but can someone please provide a link for me?

Googling the titles, and 'Lyric', gives me all manner of stuff - except Cathy's poems, which I really want to see!

Congrats, Catherine! Nice work, and it’s a good issue.

Jayne, The Lyric is print only. They do have a website here: http://www.thelyricmagazine.com/index.html

(I’m also in the Summer issue with a couple. I don’t think I see any other Spherians this time, my apologies if I’ve missed someone.)

Also very worthy of mention if you have a copy is Anne Sheldon’s sonnet on p. 78; it’s superb, IMO.
