My thriller The Legacy will get a staged reading at the Pear Avenue Theater in Mountain View, CA on Sunday, December 8, at 7 p.m. (and a full production by the Playwrights' Round Table in Orlando, FL, in April).

After the death of Sidney Moore, a billionaire with lots of secrets, his widow and mistress meet to settle their differences, but their differences, it's soon clear, are unbridgeable. Who will get the bulk of Moore's estate? What sorts of shady dealings was he involved in? Was the man who went to jail for killing Moore's daughter really guilty? How did Sidney Moore really die?

The play is about 95 minutes long. Dunno yet whether there will be an intermission in addition (the play is in two acts). In the optional discussion afterward, you can, if you like, tell me how to improve the play for its April production.
