It must be pleasing to have a reader who can look at your work through several concurrent lenses and still see clearly.

Kudos, Mary! The book deserves as much recognition as the lit world can offer. It's moving but also inspiring, something we need more of. Oh, and memorable. "Intensely moving" is definitely on target.
