I have two poems in the current issue of Chronicles and a nice review in New English Review that concludes, "Cry Wolf is a modern classic deserving wide recognition."

Paul . . . & Tim--

Received my first issue of First Things earlier this week; but, until today, I didn't get around to reading Kristen Scharold's review of Cry Wolf. Sounded like an interesting book . . . so, I looked for other reviews at Amazon. Now, I'm looking forward to having my copy delivered on September 23rd!

All best--
Patricia

P.S.
Come to think about it: Cry Wolf might actually be taking the place of Animal Farm on one of my bookshelves . . . because, in the process of sorting through a lifetime accumulation of books (among other things) and deciding what to keep when I finally relocate to a different State, Animal Farm was one of the books that ended up, last week, in one of the packing-boxes marked "Books: to sell" rather than in one of those marked "Books: bedroom shelves" or "Books: family-room shelves". So . . .

For now, I'm planning to put Cry Wolf in my bookbag; but, eventually it'll have a place in the family-room.

Wow, thanks, Catherine, Tim, Patricia, and Martin. Tim, as always, for touting the book, and Patricia and Martin for being my favorite kind of people--folks who buy and read Cry Wolf--and Martin especially for liking it so much as to say such nice things. Patricia, I hope you keep my book in the permanent family book shelves forever. I am quite happy to have it bump Animal Farm off the shelf.

Paul--

Received an e-mail (about an hour ago) from Amazon indicating that Another Kind of Travel was shipped by "bookguy15". But--talk about "snail-mail" service! I mean: The book arrived in this morning's mail, approximately 12 hours before the e-mail! Hope you don't mind two of your books on those shelves.

All best--
Patricia

Patricia, I'm so impressed by your purchase of two books for your shelf that if you email me, I'll send you my last poetry collection, Walking Backward, gratis.

Hope you like the books enough to keep them on your shelves.

My publisher recently suggested that I ask a few people I know to add some more reviews to Cry Wolf on Amazon. So if anyone (hint hint, Martin--and Patricia if you like the book) has read, is reading, or later reads my novel and likes it, I'd be delighted if you added a short review. Thanks in advance.
