Photoshop 7-20-2013
Hi all, I enjoy experimenting with Photoshop whenever the chance. Today's photo collage is a mixture of photo's I've taken over time as well as implementing an old (cut and paste) collage I did years ago with photos from magazines. I really don't have any preset ideas when I start a new collage, it just more or less evolves as pieces are added. Probably should be more creative with the titles.

Hi Tom - Welcome to the Art forum. I like this. It's past midnight so that's it for now but I will come back and give you some detailed comments on your piece tomorrow.

I like this very much. The juxtapositions of different subjects seem to suggest that there is a story there but leave it up to the viewer to speculate what that might be. The division of the image between the left and right is very interesting too. We, the viewers, bop between calm and chaos. I think the monochromatic color scheme was an interesting and successful choice.

Thank-you Sharon
Thank-you Sharon for taking the time to critic my photo collage. This one does leave things open to interpretation, and since I rarely have a 'game plan' when I start one even I sometimes look at the final version and go 'huh'.

Hi Tom
I enjoy your collage which is well done, although at least from my standpoint the skull motif proves somewhat of a turn off... the piece seems cold to me, chilling. But perhaps that's exactly the effect that you wanted. I would like to see some of your other work that perhaps does not have that macabre aspect. In any case, good luck to you in your endeavors, Tom.
All the best
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thank-you for taking time to comment, my Photoshop work does tend to be all over the board as far as themes and moods. When given the opportunity I usually try to experiment with Photoshop just to see all that the program has to offer. Appreciate hearing from you.
