Thanks, guys. I've started submitting again recently, after a long hiatus. Had a couple of my more wise-ass poems accepted by Lighten Up On Line - for publication next year - as well.

Really interesting how comfortably you seemed to slip into someone else's skin, and in what detail. It must have felt like an adventure for you writing this! It was one for me, reading it.

The last time a poem made me well up it was also in memoriam to the writer's wife. Thanks for sharing this.
