Default Ray Pospisil's The Bell available for pre-order

Granted, with Amazon UK, which means it'll get there when it gets there, but this is a fantastic collection by an author who died too soon and won't be able to do his own promo. You can order the Hardcover, HERE and the Paperback HERE. I'll announce launches and further availability as such become clear, but in the meantime, I'll just note that Seven Towers went ahead with this book a full year after a relatively obscure author's death because they believed in the work. And they rightfully believed in it. And yes, while it's a sweet story, you should buy the book. Buy an extra copy for friends. Buy it now!

Tremendous news. I spent time thinking about Ray's poetry just last night. Thanks to all involved in bringing this book out.

I can't see how we could do anything but persevere, really. Ray was unjustly overlooked during his lifetime, and the book should (fingers crossed) help establish Ray's proper place as a significant voice in American poetry. At his best (and he was frequently very good) no one sounded anything like him, and the late poetry, death-haunted as it is, is generally superlative.

Just bumping this up to note that, due to the recession and a general tightening of credit, this collection will be appearing in paperback only.
