Come on Brian. What actor ARE you like? You smoke a cigarette like Cyril Cusack. Debonair.

I dunno which actor, John. But if anyone finds the answer, please let me know so that I can sue him for impersonation.
(I just hope it wasn't Marty Feldman ...)

No, it's Albert Finney. Good luck.

No, it's not Albert Finney. I thought of him and checked, Annie; it definitely ain't him!
I WILL do my very best to identify this impostor, Brian.

T P isn't the one I have in my mind (by 'in my mind' I mean 'lurking somewhere in the dark recesses, possibly never to be recovered').
But I'm thinking "Irish" too, though, John. (At least I think I'm thinking that.)
When my husband gets back from his business trip (to Ireland, as it happens) I'll ask him. He's a fount of knowledge.

What no one seems to understand but I figured out at once, is that Brian IS that famous actor and he wants to be anonymous so he won't be spilling the beans.
He is posing as a poet (and doing a great impersonation too) to escape the paparazzi.
However that scheme didn't work as well as he hoped, because Duncan, aided and abetted by Jayne, tracked him down in Paris, and teh same time leading heaven knows how many camera fiends to the hideaway, and TWO photos are now on view to millions of Eratosphere devotees and a handful of smirking, lurking unfriends, all asking the same question: doesn't he look like, what's his name, Baron Olivier, or wait a minute, isn't he the spitting image of Robert De Niro?
I didn't know Robert De Niro wrote poetry!

I didn't smirk, honestly - and I don't think I lurked. I'm sorry, Brian, if I have blown your cover. But you do look really different in Duncan's hat.

Laurence Harvey, Michael Caine, Sean Bean, Christopher Plummer...I'm starting to think Brian is a composite English actor.
