Photo Manipulation Challenge - Grids & Circles
It's been quite a long time since we had a graphics challenge, so here is the Art Forum up in yo' face with a new one:
The challenge is to use these two source photos to make an entirely new image.
There must be something recognizable from each photo in the finished piece.
The challenge will run till January 20th. Voting will run through January 25th.

Can the challenge be answered in words or is it for people who can do actual pictures on their computers?

It is a challenge to create a new image using the source photos provided.
The requirements state that there must be something recognizable from each of the 2 photos.
Ann, if you can manage to do that with words, a mental image, go for it! That might be very interesting.

So as I understand it, you take bits of the original images, shuffle them around, add a whole lot of new stuff, and the result is ... err ... the visual equivalent of deconstructionism?

Brian, the rules are simple:
"The challenge is to use these two source photos to make an entirely new image.
There must be something recognizable from each photo in the finished piece. "
Based on past challenges, there should be a wide range of results. Are you going to give it a go?

Well, I am. I've got an idea and am enjoying the research. Do we just post them here, names and all, or is it one of those where we submit them to you (Sharon) and you post them anonymously? Either way, I'm up for it.

I don't think so, Sharon. Manipulating images is not one of my skills. I don't even know how to take a photo on my mobile phone. Naively, I still believe that the purpose of a telephone is to make and receive calls.

Ann, I'm excited to see what you do. Yes, post your piece here. This is just for fun.
Brian, don't be shy, this is just for fun.
