Default Per Contra's foray into light verse

Here. With Jerome Betts, Michael Cantor, Catherine Chandler, Terese Coe, Susan De Sola, Rhina P. Espaillat (!!!), R. S. Gwyn (Jesus!), A.M. Juster (nuff said), Jean Kreiling, Duncan MacLaurin, Susan McLean, Mary Meriam, Richard Meyer, Cyn McNeely, Chris O'Carroll, Jayne Osborn, Frank Osen, Alex Pepple, Martin Rocek, Carol Taylor, Catherine Tufariello, Deb Warren and Gail White. Only the tardiness of John Whitworth caused this to be a wee tad less than a royal flush. Congrats to all Spherians present and accounted for, and to Miriam Kotzin, editor.

Ed

Plus Ned Balbo, Wiley Clements (aka Golias), Derek Fenton, Robert Schechter (aka Roger Slater) and Lewis Turco. Apologies to anyone I've missed.

I've read around in it. It is a fun issue. Congratulations to everyone.

I can't wait to read it all. What a copious collection. I'm there as well, using my real name (Schechter).

These Spherians with their noms de plume!

P.S. Speak of the Devil and he (or she) will appear: Noam D. Plum, of Light Quarterly fame, also makes his (her) presence felt in Per Contra's light verse issue.

Say rather noms de guerre. I am there under my nom de famille.

Too much light verse is like too much peach pie. It's apt to cloy the appetite..
