Roald Hoffmann, the Nobel Prize-winning chemist and poet, has written a play called Something That Belongs to You that is now available from Dos Madres Press. Hoffmann, who collaborated with Carl Djerassi, the innovator of the first birth control pill, on the play Oxygen, is a fascinating guy. He and Djerassi, who died only recently, are among a handful of extremely accomplished scientists I've met on the day job who kind of "get" the Western Intellectual Tradition.
