"Obituary" is one I wrote after my late grandfather's death in 2021, a confluence of my interest in attempting blackout poetry and thinking about the absurd reductivism of obituary writing in general. How can you condense a life into a few paragraphs -- and what happens when you take that even further? It has been published at Months to Years:
