Default New Online Paying Humor Journal

Hi all,

I saw this posted on reddit.

Getting a confirmation that they were, indeed, interested in humorous/light verse, I went to their submission page and then came here.

I hope it can be of use to someone.

Er...

"Here is everything you need to know...in bullet form. For idiots.
These are the rules to follow to guarantee your shit will get through to someone here.
All work should be humorous. We encourage authors and artists to be caustic and offensive. We also encourage them to submit caustic and offensive work. But being uncivil is not a requirement. Just be fucking funny.
Here the funniest shit wins."

They obviously don't take themselves seriously. Sorry, but neither do I.

It looks like Michael was trying to refer us to that language without actually putting it on the board. That was considerate of him.

I'm going to move this to General Announcements, with a redirect. GA, or else Pub, is really a better place for calls for subs.

I apologise if my blurting it out was deemed to be inconsiderate, Maryann.

I appreciate the thought behind posting the news, BUT...

It sounds like it's edited by the seventh, eighth and ninth funniest kids in the Senior class.

Michael C--
Yeah, I know--but they're *trying* to be funny.
And as they say they are paying, I thought I'd let folks who write such verse (not me) know about it.

Best,
Michael
