New Book
I ordinarily wouldn't mention it for a bit, but since it's a lot cheaper to preorder now, I feel compelled to mention that you can save almost five bucks if you preorder my new book on Amazon for a mere ten bucks and change.
It's my translation of Tibullus' elegies, a strange book indeed that influenced western love poetry via Petrarch (we might not have the text at all today but for Petrarch). The noted Tibullus scholar Robert Maltby did the intro and the notes.
It's part of the World Classics Series of Oxford University Press, which is their answer to Penguin--except that Oxford is better because it has the facing Latin. It's available in the UK on January 12 (in time for Valentine's Day if you want to send someone a classic of failed amorous pursuits) and in the US in early March.

I'll get it for sure. Another book I would probably not have heard about except for Eratosphere.
An impressive accomplishment. Hearty congratulations for the publication.

Great news indeed, Michael. Many congratulations! - this will surely be the definitive Tibullus.

Noticing this late, but I'm delighted, and will definitely be ordering this.
While you're at it, why not do Propertius too?

Oh, I just read this, rather late! It sounds fascinating, Michael, especially the Petrarch connection. Well done! And thank you for the tip.

Gail:
I'm sorely tempted to try Propertius. I have two other translation manuscripts nearing completion, but haven't decided what's next. Propertius is on the list.
