This is by orders of magnitude the biggest audience I have reached. We're very pleased with how it came out, and we'll be doing it again soon.

Damn fine interview, Tim. Wide-ranging and real. Your frankness on all fronts is refreshing.

Seree, Dave, PPTV reaches the Prairie Provinces of Canada, Montana, Minnesota, and the Dakotas, a vast area (North Dakota alone is bigger than New England) with a sparse population. Dave, in terms of frankness, I don't want to frighten the horses, but the books are what they are. Our next show will be devoted to Alan Sullivan, verse translator, and we'll tackle the Beowulf and the poems of King David.

The real credit for this show goes to Matt Olien, producer, who wrote the questions posed to me by John Harris. Matt is my contemporary and knows my work.

I asked him "Did I pick my nose or scratch my crotch?" "Why ever would you ask that," said Matt. "Because the last time I was on your show I did both."

I can watch the video but for some reason can't hear the sound.
How annoying.

David, try it again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO3iJ0N7RPs

Or try Prairie Pulse, Tim Murphy, and that should take you there.
