The Village Voice Poetry issue
So, thanks to Joshua Mehigan for including me in this year's poetry issue in the Village Voice. Scads of groovy stuff here, including from Jenna Lê, George Green, John Foy, and John Marcus Powell, as well as people with names like Muldoon and Kirsch and Hadas and Komunyakaa. Whambo like Rambo, for it is #louwbre!

Good Heavens. I didn't know it still existed. Well done, Quincy, you sixties dinosaur you. Yours and Muldoon's are by far the best. It must be the beatlecuts.

Excellent issue and a great poem, so you can join the icons. The publication itself is an icon. Well worth reading. There was even a poem about someone else whose first name begins with Q. In New York, you can name names and they're probably all neighbors. Congrats!

Thanks, all. There will, I gather, be a reading at the KGB Bar (85 East 4th Street) on May 11, starting at 7 PM.

Excellent, Quincy. I'm always struck by the free range of your poems.
How'should the KGB Bar doing? We had a restaurant here called Reds but it only lasted a year.

Bill--
The KGB bar's old enough to drink. It's a common venue for poetry readings, and its history goes SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
