Excuse a brief puff at my own trumpet. I'm very excited to say that the first review of my novel, Ascension, has appeared in The Times (UK) - and the reviewer has nominated it Book of the Month. As you know, I bought the book via my mobile phone while you sat beside me for lunch in London

I've read the first chapter and am now trying to reorganise my life so that I can pick up Ascension and not put it down again until I reach the end. OK, that isn't going to happen...(big sigh) How I wish I was about to go on holiday!

Suffice it to say that I just can't wait to get back to the story. Huge congratulations on the well-deserved Book of the Month nomination.
