Default Murphy on Parnassus

My beloved Timothy Murphy today at that Brooke Clark's great site. Many thanks to him, for aiding and abetting me in reinforcing Tim's immortality:

Oh, that's a sad, tight, clever poem. Good to read. I don't know where to start with Tim Murphy's work, but this feels like a good start.

Oh my dear -- I shall send you some links when I return from my travels. One must not be minus the magnificent Mr. Murphy...

Thank you. I'll look forward to that. In the meantime, I'll see if I can find a chapbook that I can buy that doesn't entail expensive postage (although I am gradually recouping my poetry budget after a mad splurge back in July).

Sarah-Jane, you might want to check bookfinder dot com for a used copy. I did a quick check and you can get "Very Far North" for less than $9, delivered, and I bet there are other Tim Murphy titles there as well. When I've ordered used books online, it's often at insanely low prices (less than $5 delivered) and the condition is generally even better than they represent it to be.
