Default Lit Rev -- Sonnet

The June Literary Review is out, with the results of the "Islands" competition. Iain Colley is among the winners. Congratulations to him, whoever the hell he is. (So it does look as if the "Schadenfreude" results will be announced in the July issue.)

The new competition calls for "a sonnet about a place of your choice." Introducing that topic, the editor references two Wordsworth sonnets about London -- "Earth has not anything to show more fair" and "O Friend! I know not which way I must look" -- indicating that we can enter either a pro or an anti sonnet about the place we choose. Deadline is June 28.
