Looking through some old files on a computer disk, I found this, which I submitted when a similar competition was set back in the eighties. It didn't win, and I can see why. I don't think I'll send it in this time.

Be quite frank - I love your giblets.
Just imagining your liver,
I feel shivers of delight,
And I'll wager your intestines
Are the best in all the world
(So pinky-white, so nicely curled...)

I picture your interior
One superior arcade.
With such precious things displayed.
From your adenoids to bladder
How I cherish every part.
Yet this only makes me sadder.
For you're not complete, alack.
I'm convinced you'd love me back
If you'd even half a heart.
