A double shout out for Joshua Mehigan!
I just want congratulate my friend Joshua Mehigan first for having had his second book, "Accepting the Disaster," accepted by Farrar, Straus and Giroux due out in 2013, and secondly for being the very first poet, listed at the top on the cover, with THREE poems opening the actual centennial edition--October--of "Poetry." As I'm sure many of you already know, there are only 20 pages allotted for new poems, and then the journal goes into "The Last 100 Years." My sincere congratulations to one of the greatest poets, and truest friends, that I have known.
