For those of you who are going to the Poetry by the Sea Conference, I’m chairing a panel entitled, "What Do We Mean When We Say ‘Modernism’?: The Ambiguous Shadow of the Early Twentieth Century Over Contemporary Poetry." There are, of course, multiple ways to go with such a topic, and to that end, I’m issuing a call for papers—the usual drill of a proposal of a page or so. Feel free to share this call as you see fit. Proposals should be sent to qlehr[at]sjcny.edu by February 1.
