What's the Use?
We have it on good authority that poetry is hard to get the news from, and makes nothing happen. Yet the March issue of Snakeskin is devoted to Useful Poetry. Jerome Betts, Joe Crocker, George Simmers, and I are among the allegedly useful poets. There may be other names I ought to be mentioning here, but I'm not that useful.
